The Rising Stars Program builds stronger career pathways by partnering with leading organizations that share our vision for workforce equity and innovation. Through strategic collaborations, we’ve developed several specialized programs that connect students to mentorship, technical training and career opportunities in the construction industry.
Built to Lead
Built to Lead is a Brooklyn-based mentorship alliance that pairs Rising Stars graduates with industry mentors to ease their transition into the workforce. Through partnerships with Urban Green Council and RiseBoro plus support from Con Edison, this program connects students to a variety of professional networks and industry mentorship.
Trade Trailblazers
Trade Trailblazers is an eight-week summer internship and career exploration program designed in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Students ages 17–18 gain hands-on training across multiple union trades, earn safety certifications and choose two trades for deeper exploration—ultimately building pathways to their future careers.
Careers of the Future
Developed in partnership with The Possible Zone, Careers of the Future is a one-week crash course that blends project-based training with green construction skills. High school seniors gain exposure to sustainable building practices and career readiness tools before having the option to continue into our Achieve Green program for advanced training.
