Careers of the Future is a one-week, deep-dive program developed in partnership with The Possible Zone to provide students with early exposure to construction, infrastructure and clean energy careers. Offered during school vacation weeks, this program combines project-based learning with Rising Stars’s expertise in green construction, helping students build technical skills, develop career readiness and explore opportunities in the sustainable economy.
 
The Possible Zone manages STEAM technology and co-instruction, wrap-around student support, and recruitment, prioritizing seats for high school seniors who are planning their postsecondary pathways. These students take part in stipend-supported training that blends entrepreneurial thinking and in-demand competencies with practical construction skills. The week culminates in applied projects, career mapping and mentorship designed to help students envision their next steps.
 
Graduating seniors who complete our Careers of the Future program are eligible to continue directly into our Achieve Green pre-apprenticeship tracks, including opportunities in energy efficiency training and glazing apprenticeships. By building a bridge from school-based learning to workforce training, this program creates a strong on-ramp into sustainable careers.
