Built to Lead is a Brooklyn-based mentorship alliance that is designed to support Rising Stars graduates as they take their first steps into the workforce. This program pairs students with industry mentors for up to a year after graduation, providing them with access to professional guidance and a network of support during the critical first stage in their careers.

 

Through partnerships with Urban Green Council and RiseBoro Community Partnership, students gain access to diverse expertise and local resources. Supported by Con Edison’s Clean Energy & Tech Careers planning grant, mentors from Urban Green’s professional network guide graduates in career mapping, skill development and navigating early workplace experiences.

 

By combining industry mentorship with community-based support, Built to Lead helps Rising Stars build confidence, grow their professional networks and achieve long-term success.
