


Joscelyn Truitt
VP of Empowerment, RiseBoro Community Partnership
Joscelyn Truitt is vice president of empowerment at RiseBoro Community Partnership and serves on the board of directors for the Rising Stars Program. In her role at RiseBoro, she oversees the Empowerment division, which provides critical services such as homelessness prevention, housing legal assistance, financial coaching, workforce development and youth mentorship. With a background in trauma and domestic violence advocacy, she has dedicated her entire career to helping individuals achieve safety, security and economic mobility.
Truitt has a bachelor's degree in social work from New York University and a master's degree in social work with a focus on community-based practice and leadership from Fordham University. She is deeply passionate about uplifting underrepresented youth, ensuring that they have the guidance, resources and opportunities needed to achieve success in both life and career.
