Dexter Hendricks is the vice president of community and citizenship for Turner Construction Company and serves on the board of directors for the Rising Stars Program. In his role at Turner, he oversees community engagement initiatives across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

 

Over his 25-year career with Turner Construction, Hendricks has been instrumental in creating opportunities for women-, minority- and locally owned businesses in the construction industry. He has led efforts to expand the Turner School of Construction Management, which equips individuals in local communities with industry knowledge. Passionate about workforce development, he also actively supports the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey, helping high school students explore career paths in architecture, construction, engineering and skilled trades. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rutgers University.
